In the late 90’s there was a concern for rising violence in cities as white flight and bureaucratic stumbles had many residents concerned. This piece was for the Boston Globe’s Health and Science page. A hunting knife was used as an object of potential violence to accompany a story dealing with the search for the origins of the behavior.
