Mural in the lobby of the Puerto Rico International Airport

Originally in the El Mercado in old San Juan, these murals have been reclaimed and are being transferred to the Luis Munoz International Airport, San Juan. This is the first of four to arrive:
The Working Men and Women of Puerto Rico.   16’ by 200′
After the destruction hit the Island the original performance site at Paseo Caribe closed. The Open Studios on the Plaza also were closed and shuttered. The El Mercado, where the murals where showcased, also shuttered. It was the disaster of a hurricane and Covid within a brief time. The murals were preserved, with one installed and the others to follow shortly.
